Join ADAP Advocacy on Thursday, November 12th at 12:00 PM ET for a timely discussion on the 340B Drug Pricing Program ("340B Program") legislative proposals that have flooded the hallowed halls of Congress this year. Learn how the 340B debate has shifted from whether to reform the 30-year-old program to how to reform it, and how stakeholders view “reform” differently depending on their situational perspective. This live discussion tackles the various 340B legislative proposals in Congress through a point-counterpoint approach, making it open to ALL 340B stakeholders.
Two leading 340B policy experts will discuss the following bills:
“ACCESS” – The 340B Affording Care for Communities and Ensuring a Strong Safety-Net Act (H.R.5256), known as the 340B ACCESS Act, introduced by Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) and Rep, Diana Harshbarger (R-TN)
“SECURE” – The Strengthening the Exercise of Controls and Upgrading Requirements for Efficiency in 340B Act (H.R.9599), known as the SECURE 340B Act, introduced by Rep. Scott Peters (D-CA) and Rep. John Joyce (R-PA)
“SUSTAIN” – The Supporting Underserved and Strengthening Transparency, Accountability, and Integrity Now and for the Future of 340B Act (S.5244), known as the SUSTAIN 340B Act, introduced by Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS), Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Sen. Shelly Moore Capito (R-WV), Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), Sen. John Boozman (R-AZ), and Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO).
"CASSIDY" – The 340B Drug Pricing Integrity and Affordability for Patients Act (Discussion Draft), known as the 340B for Patients Act, introduced by Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
Other 340B-related bills may also be discussed during the point-counterpoint conversation.
The discussion will be moderated by Brandon M. Macsata, CEO of ADAP Advocacy, and will include perspectives from:
William (Bill) Sarraille, JD | Special Counsel for 340B Issues at ADAP Advocacy
Jeff Davis, JD | Partner at Bass, Berry & Sims PLC
Sarraille and Davis will discuss how the different legislative proposals address key issues, such as patient definition guidelines, telehealth provisions, referrals, contract pharmacy provisions, and the regulation of child sites.
We hope you will join us for this important discussion, where experts will share insights on how Congress might tackle the 340B legislative debate. Registration is free, and all 340B stakeholders are invited.
