In states with large urban communities, Covid-19 has disproportionately impacted African Americans. And according to the World Health Organization, HIV increases the risk for severe Covid-19 by 6% and the risk of dying of Covid-19 in the hospital by 30%. Michelle’s message aims to help convince African Americans to get vaccinated and further protect themselves.
