ADAP Advocacy released its new Public Service Announcement on the current funding crisis facing the AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs), which has led to ADAP waiting lists impacting 2 states and over 1,000 patients living with HIV/AIDS. The new PSA builds on the landmark PSA – which was first released in 2011 during the previous ADAP Crisis. The new PSA features Texas-based HIV-positive advocate Michelle Anderson, who was among the advocates included in the 2011 PSA.
