The conference – held in partnership with the Community Access National Network (CANN) – is being themed as "Unchartered Water: AIDS Drug Assistance Programs in the Age of Trump." It is being held at the Westin Georgetown, located at 2350 M Street, NW, Washington D.C. 20037.
ADAP Advocacy Association to Host Regional Summit in Raleigh, NC
Focus on Ryan White Re-Set in the Age of Trump
WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 7, 2017) – The ADAP Advocacy Association today announced that it will host an ADAP Regional Summit on April 14, 2017. The southern summit – held in partnership with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Community Access National Network (CANN) and the North Carolina AIDS Action Network (NCAAN) – is going to focus on specific issues facing the Ryan White Program with the uncertainty surrounding the future of the Affordable Care Act. It is being held at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, located at 421 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.

ADAP Advocacy Association Releases Resources Promoting Access to Care Among Transgender Men & Women Living with HIV/AIDS

WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 6, 2017) – The ADAP Advocacy Association today released two important resources – an infographic and policy white paper – as part of its ongoing project, “Improving Access to Care Among Transgender Men & Women Living with HIV/AIDS under the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).” The project aims to raise awareness about issues confronting transgender men and women living with HIV/AIDS who also access care and treatment (or whom could benefit from such care and treatment) under ADAP, as well as other public health programs.

Add-On Designed to Assist People Living with HIV/HCV Co-Infection
WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 22, 2017) – The ADAP Advocacy Association today announced that it has added information about Hepatitis C (HCV) drug therapy coverage to its flagship ADAP Directory. The add-on offers a glimpse into the State AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs) covering some form of HCV drug therapy as part of their approved drug formulary.

Improving Access to Care Among Formerly Incarcerated Populations with HIV/AIDS under the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 12, 2017) – The ADAP Advocacy Association today announced that it has launched a new project to improve access to care and treatment for correctional inmates living with HIV/AIDS who are transitioning back into community life. The project – “Improving Access to Care Among Formerly Incarcerated Populations with HIV/AIDS under the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)” – aims to raise awareness about issues confronting formerly incarcerated populations living with HIV/AIDS (and/or Hepatitis C) who also access care and treatment (or whom could benefit from such care and treatment) under the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), as well as provide useful resources and tools to the communities serving them.
